When I do archive rebuilds, I automatically retry failed builds on a
different machine. So, yes, the failure is (most likely) not random, and
reproducible.

If you tried building it, and succeeded, why don't you post a build log,
then diff it with mine? Most likely, that will show a difference that
explains why the result is different. If it does not, then I'm willing
to restart all my rebuild setup and debug that. But I'd rather not do
that if it can be avoided by a cheaper plan.
