Dear Maintainer,

Today I tried to plugin my android phone (in MTP mode) and sync some music to
it using rhythmbox like I have done in the past.

Rhythmbox has been unable to find my device.

I noticed that the 'Portable Players - MTP' plugin had an icon next to it,
hovering over it suggested there was an error loading the plugin.

I loaded ryhthmbox with --debug, the output contains:

(rhythmbox:5739): libpeas-WARNING **: Failed to load module 'mtpdevice':
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libmtp.so.9: undefined symbol:
libusb_handle_events_timeout_completed

(rhythmbox:5739): libpeas-WARNING **: Error loading plugin 'mtpdevice'


I have been successful in using mtp-tools to detect my device, connect to my
device, list folders on my device. So I believe mtp is working ok on my system
in general, but the mtpdevice plugin of rhythmbox is no longer working due to
the above
