Normally people add themselves and as fas as I can see you're already
part of the pkg-gnome team on alioth and should have commit access.

OTOH, if you're only interested in this package (or possibly a few more)
and not intend to maintain a wider set of GNOME packages, then it might
be more suitable to just list yourself explicitly instead of having
your name be part of the @GNOME_UPLOADERS@ expansion. This avoids
you ending up as an Uploader in any pkg-gnome maintained package you
might feel yourself in the need to NMU or Team upload. The gnome-pkg-tools
is pretty brutal in that once you've listed yourself in pkg-gnome.team
there's no way to opt out of being part of Uploaders (except waiting
for 10 uploads to be done by someone else -- or ofcourse remove yourself
again and wait for the next upload by someone else).

Also, gnome-orca isn't really getting much attention in pkg-gnome.
Maybe it's better owned by some other team altogether? Please check
with others in #debian-gnome if they agree and you would like
to go that route.

HTH.
