Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:3.21.90-1
Followup-For: Bug #836835
Dear maintainers,
the same happens here: when editing a wired connection in the network applet of
gnome control center, a segmentation fault occurs *whenever*
1) editing an existing wired connection
2) adding a new wired connection with manual IPV4 address settings: the
segmentation fault occurs whenever filling the last missing address, whichever
order the adresses are typed in. The new connection is not saved.
This renders the network applet unusable.
A message appears in /etc/syslog as:
kernel: [ 622.950848] gnome-control-c[5975]: segfault at 1 ip 00007f846654f85d
sp 00007ffcf9e106e8 error 4 in libgobject-2.0.so.0.4906.0[7f846651b000+51000]
Any workaround to add a new wired connection?
Best,
Ara
