Bug#838289: nautilus: New Document is not shown in context menu by default

Package: nautilus
Version: 3.21.91.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

by default it is not possible to create a new (text) file using the right-click context menu.
Of course this is only my opinion but I think it is a common feature for file browsers.

This can be achieved by creating an empty (text) file in the default Templates directory (xdg-user-dir TEMPLATES).

Feel free to close this bug if this has been discussed and decided against it already.

Regards,

Joey
