I can confirm that this bug in libgtk-3-0 still affects gnome-boxes
3.22.0-1 from latest sid.  (Tested with libgtk-3-0 3.21.6-1 .)
Downgrading libgtk-3-0 from 3.21.6-1 to 3.20.9-1 allows gnome-boxes to
render correctly again.

You might be able to reproduce this problem if you run the QXL graphics
driver (xserver-xorg-video-qxl) in the guest, and potentially the guest
agent as well.

I can reliably reproduce this with a Windows VM running the QXL driver
and guest agent.
