Bug#882353: GIO lists removable storage devices even after they have been unplugged when using Linux kernel v4.14

I see this bug in Thunar under XFCE with all 4.14 kernels I tried, 
including the latest linux-image-4.14.0-2-amd64 4.14.7-1 on unstable. I 
reported it as #883425 (thanks Torbjörn for leading me here):

Booting with 4.13 fixes the behaviour.
