Bug#851753: gdm always starts as x-session

Hello!

I thought that gdm uses wayland as default, but for me it always starts
as gdm-x-session. In gdm I can choose gnome desktop with wayland though
and it is using wayland then.

I have no clue how to change that behavior, there is not much
documentation about this, but I think it is a bug.
