My apologies. Upon further investigation, this seems to be the same as the bug described here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/792605/ubuntu-16-04-lts-too-slow-after-suspend-and-resume Running "sudo wrmsr -a 0x19a 0x0" restored performance. So please mark this bug resolved. Best, Rob
