libgtop ABI breakage

Dear maintainers,

for the next version of GNOME, we are going again to break libgtop2 ABI.
It's poorly designed, any addition actually breaks its ABI, I've realised
this, after 15 years, with abi-tracker.

Is there a way to make it easier for you ? Would it help that we do a major
release (libgtop3) instead ?
