Package: gnome-games-app
Version: 3.26.2-1
Severity: normal
Hi there,
isn't Gnome Games supposed to support SNES ROMs via libretro modules?
I have a handful of SNES ROMs in SMC format and also one in SFC
format, but Gnome Games is unable to play any of them. It just
presents me a frowny stating "Oops! Unable to run "Super Mario World"
The system "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" isn't supported yet,
but full support is planned".
However, I am sure I have already read blog posts of people reporting
that they played SNES ROMs with Gnome Games.
I have the following libretro modules installed:
libretro-bsnes-mercury-balanced:amd64 094+git20160126-1
libretro-snes9x:amd64 1.53+git20160522-1
Cheers,
- Fabian
