Dear Maintainer,

>From the Menu I select 'File/Open Location ...' and enter
'https://www.debian.org/Pics/openlogo-50.png'.

A window opens with the message:

reading: No such file or directory

IIRC previously 'aptitude install gimp-libcurl' would fix this, but 
this package no longer exists.

I don't know if this issue existed before I (un)installed various
packages, trying in vain to download pictures from my MPT camera.
