Bug#897167: gimp-python doesn't install due to file conflict with package gimp

Dear Maintainer,

* What led up to the situation?

I tried to install gimp-python with synaptic.

* What was the outcome of this action?
* What outcome did you expect instead?

The package did not install due to a file conflict with package gimp. The error
message on my system (German localization):

Entpacken von gimp-python (2.10.0-2) ...
dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten des Archivs /var/cache/apt/archives/gimp-
python_2.10.0-2_amd64.deb (--unpack):
 Versuch, »/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/environ/pygimp.env« zu überschreiben, welches auch
in Paket gimp 2.10.0-2 ist
dpkg-deb: Fehler: einfügen subprocess was killed by signal (Datenübergabe
unterbrochen (broken pipe))
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/gimp-python_2.10.0-2_amd64.deb
