Dear Maintainer,
I had the same bug with little difference. Flood after start of new
applications in .xsession-errors:
"xklavier_evt_xkb.c:xkl_xkb_process_x_event/] ATTENTION! Currently
cached group 1 is not equal to the current group from the event: 0"
I solved this problem by "--purge remove" the package libreoffice in
Synaptic.
Since that there is no flood in my .xsession-errors and it's size is
several KB - not MB and even GB as occurred earlier.

ATTENTION! Currently cached group 1 is not equal to the current group
from the event: 0
