Version: 3.8.4-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-CC: glib2.0 at packages.debian.org
cinnamon-settings-daemon fails to build on Ubuntu 18.10 "cosmic".
Build log is at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cinnamon-settings-daemon/3.8.4-1/+build/15241285
I believe this is the relevant excerpt:
-----------
In file included from /usr/include/glib-2.0/glib/glist.h:32,
from /usr/include/glib-2.0/glib/ghash.h:33,
from /usr/include/glib-2.0/glib.h:50,
from csd-disk-space.c:30:
csd-disk-space.c: In function ‘csd_ldsm_clean’:
/usr/include/glib-2.0/glib/gmem.h:120:7: error: too few arguments to
function ‘notify_notification_close’
(destroy) (_ptr);
-----------
Notably, Ubuntu 18.10 includes glib2.0 2.57.2-1 (from Debian
experimental). glib 2.58 is expected to be uploaded to Debian unstable
around the first of September.
Thanks,
Jeremy Bicha
