I'm trying to resolve long standing open translation bugs and this one
has not seen any activity since it was reported more than 1 year ago.

I don't know. Chris, the submitter of the translation might know.

1) Drop the file from Chris into the directory
2) Add a single line "de" into po/LINGUAS

(Sorry, I'm not a git wizard, so hopefully this will do, but if needed
I could provide you a patch for debian/patches).

So I leave this package to you (and Chris). It would be great if could
integrate this update into your next upload (before the freeze).
