All of those Lintian errors are explained in the comment in the
debian/copyright header [1]. If that is unsatisfactory, I can
1. drop the Files-Excluded lines, or
2. we can have mismatched tarballs with Ubuntu until the next upstream
release, or
3. use a repack suffix for the upstream version number until the next
upstream release.
I consider it a fairly minor issue since the jquery file affects the
source package only, not the binaries. And nearly every package that
uses autotools has those unnecessary (for Debian) copies of autotools
macros.
