Bug#889505: Acknowledgement (gdm3: randomly prevents user switch)

Dear maintainer,

meanwhile I found out that this is indeed a duplicate of bug# 874529.
I compiled the stretch-version of gdm3 from source after applying the
patch described there (i.e. one missing comma in 
daemon/gdm-local-display-factory.c), see

https://github.com/GNOME/gdm/commit/60447f2016cd873b0a62a5885687d7b3a


and gdm3 now works great again.

When can we expect this very important patch in the official
stretch-version of gdm3?
(user switching remains broken otherwise.)
