I think this is

In gtk+3.0 3.24 there is a bug when shutting down GtkApplications and
not using portals. We should probably cherry-pick that patch if it's
breaking things. FTR, I doubt this g_critical is causing visible
problems for people at runtime, but an FTBFS fix is justification
enough.
