Your bug report makes it sound like you ignored the initial reply by
ebassi to the upstream bug.

I believe we don't consider this a bug in glib2.0. Please fix the
reverse dependencies instead. They'll need to be fixed for every other
distro that ships glib 2.58.1 anyway. ebassi's blog post explains how
to fix the bug.

So please reassign this bug to the other broken packages.
