For what it's worth, after patching gvfs-fuse to just have "Depends: fuse"
instead of "Depends: fuse (>= 2.8.4)", then removing fuse and installing
fuse3, it still seems to work here.

However, it isn't the only FUSE filesystem in this situation: I had to
remove archivemount before I could replace fuse with fuse3, and zfs-fuse
has the same problem.

So if fuse3 is meant to be usable as a drop-in replacement for fuse,
it might be better if the fuse3 maintainer (in Cc) changed fuse3 to have
Provides: fuse (= ${binary:Version}).
