If it still works with the MiniBrowser but not with Epiphany perhaps
you could try to open the web inspector console in both cases (right
click -> Inspect Element -> Console (on the right)) and compare the
messages that appear when you open and try to use GMail.

If both browsers behave differently then that could give us a clue.
