GNOME/gimp#535 looks like the right bug for Bugzilla #724130 and Debian
#701903; fixing the metadata accordingly.

You mentioned Bugzilla #679622, but that looks like an unrelated bug
(which was also migrated to Gitlab, this time as GNOME/gimp#412).
