cheese 3.31.90 / no menus visible

Hello,

     when starting cheese on Debian Buster Mate Desktop no menus (Cheese 
Edit Help) are visible. On the other side Debain Screenshots show all 
these menus (https://screenshots.debian.net/package/cheese). Is there a 
problem with Package: cheese (3.31.90-1)  or do I something wrong?
