well I find it more readable when it’s in /usr/share/images but the path’s basename in my patch is a symlink to the one in you’re proposal so whichever you like better will work.

$ ls -l /usr/share/images/vendor-logos
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 févr.  5 00:06 /usr/share/images/vendor-logos -> /etc/alternatives/vendor-logos
