Bug#923452: gimp: fails with segfault when trying to change theme

Dear Maintainer,

GIMP segfaults when trying to select a different theme from the settings
menu. As a result of this, all unsaved work done in the program is lost.

I've not tried to change the theme before, so I'm unsure why this
happens.

How to reproduce:
1. Open a new, empty instance of GIMP
2. Open the Preferences window from Edit -> Preferences
3. Then in the tree view, select Interface -> Theme
4. Select one of the theme names in the list

The program then segfaults, instead of setting the theme as I expected.

I'm running KDE Plasma 5 with Global Menu activated (not sure if this
affects the theme of GIMP)
