Bug#893567: Confirmed on stable Debian 10 with Czech keyboard and ° character in password

I confirm this bug with the fresh and update stable Debian 10
(64bit) after installing Gnome. I cannot log in with keyboard in
gdm3 because the ° character cannot be entered at all. I can log in
only by showing the accessibility options, graphical keyboard on
screen and picking this character from the list.

In regular GUI the Czech keyboard usually acts in such a way that to
enter ° one must press SHift+; (left to "1" above Tab key) TWICE.
In the console before I installed X and GNome logging in or entering
sudo password was OK just pressing Shift+; once (no dead key behaviour).

GDM3 if it uses keyboard with dead keys enabled it shhould allow
entering ° character or similar dead-key characters the same way as
for any other apps, = pressing the key combo twice.
