Version: 3.30.5-1.1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I just upgraded from stretch to buster. Mails in evolution are now
displayed with most of the text missing if viewed in HTML mode. It
turns out that this is because most of the text is white on white.
The theme in use is 'high contrast'. The same effect is apparent if
'adwaita-dark' is chosen. All the other basic xfce themes seems to
work correctly. This theme has ben in use for a couple of years anddid notcause thisproblem on stretch.
I don't know if this should be deemed a bug in the themes or evolution?
So far as I can tell the high-contrast theme comes from the package
gnome-accessibility-themes, which is installed and there are files under /usr/share/themes/HighContrast (gtk-2.0/gtkrc and gtk-3.0/gtk.rss and index.theme
One thing I notice is that there are many more theme files in
/usr/share/themes than appear in the 'Appearance' dialog. Not sure if
that's relevant.
Any ideas how to debug or fix this, and why it broke inthe upgrade?
