1) I confirm that Jean-Marc's instructions :

> 1/ add the stable to your source.list
> 2/ sudo apt update
> 3/ sudo apt install gir1.2-gnomedesktop-3.0=3.30.2.1-2
> 4/ sudo apt-mark hold gir1.2-gnomedesktop-3.0

were  sufficient to recover a functional system.

2) I suggest to mark this bug as grave (justification: May render a
system unusable).

3) I also suggestto give to this bug andd to its eventual solution the
largest publicity: it will concern potentially all testing Gnome users,
which are not in inconsiderable numbers, I suspect...
