I *can* reproduce it today (which is during a multi-day event on my
calendar, since this weekend is a public holiday in my country). Your
backtrace looks like upstream bugs 546/548, which I think is consistent
with this being something to do with multi-day events.

It seems to be fixed in the upstream gnome-3-36 branch. Please try version
3.36.0-2 from experimental when it becomes available, and report back
whether that fixes this crash for you.

The upstream developers say (on upstream issue 573) that the 3.36 branch
isn't ready for a 3.36.1 release yet, but on the other hand 3.36.0
seems to be unusable for you, so... presumably something is better
than nothing?

Alternatively, use evolution's calendar mode for now. They use the same
data storage (evolution-data-server).
