Bug#951679: [gedit] sh syntax highlighting bug

There is a noticeable syntax highlighting bug handling shell code as
demonstrated in the attached image (problem.png).

I happened to noticed that the bug disappears if adding a space before
the terminating nested quote as shown in (problem_with_space.png).
