Dear Maintainer,
If I open this image in Gimp
http://pscan.uk/images/myx350/DSC_4791.JPG
then I use the rectangle select tool to select a box
then I click Edit then Copy then Gimp immediately dies.
When I run from strace this is the last few lines:-
