Package: evolution-ews
Version: 3.36.3-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Since about a month ago, when I send an e-mail via my employer's Office365
setup using Evolution's EWS support, I find that the message that is placed
into the Sent folder has the correct recipient names, but the message that is
actually sent appears to replace the recipient's name with their e-mail
address. For example,

In composer: To: John Smith <john.smith at example.com>
In Sent folder: To: John Smith <john.smith at example.com>
Actually received: To: john.smith at example.com <john.smith at example.com>

I have attempted to isolate the problem by sending messages to myself. To
summarise, I find that the name is preserved if *any* of the following
situations:

* Sending through the Office365 web Outlook (the webmail interface).
* Sending from Evolution through Office356's SMTP interface
(smtp.office365.com).
* The recipient is within the employer's domain (e.g., if my domain is
example.biz, then
    John Smith <jon.smith at example.biz> -> preserved
    John Smith <jon.smith at example.net> -> jon.smith at example.net
<jon.smith at example.net>
    )

It is only when sending to a recipient outside the employer's domain using
Evolution's EWS that the problem occurs. For messages with multiple
heterogeneous recipients, those in the domain have their names preserved, those
outside rewritten.
