Sorry, I was misreading the commit.

This bug is about a property with a space in it, which was never
considered to be valid (but was accepted anyway, until recently).

The packages I listed use property names with underscores, which are
allowed and canonicalized to "-". Performance will be slightly better
if they are fixed, but underscores are documented to be OK.
