Thanks for the bugreport,

I've bumped the requirements to make it work with 3.38 but the
extension fails to load with:
$ sudo journalctl /usr/bin/gnome-shell | grep screencast
Sep 28 18:01:57 tnetennba gnome-shell[2373]: JS ERROR: Extension
EasyScreenCast at iacopodeenosee.gmail.com: ImportError: No JS module
'screencast' found in search path

You mention a 1.2.0 release, but I don't think that ever happened,
there is a commit bumping the version, and some non-critical changes,
but no release was made, in any case, I don't think it will solve the
issue.

This package has only been alive with patches that I keep applying for
compatibility for some time now, if we don't manage to solve this, I'm
happy to let the package be removed from our repositories, especially
if it blocks gnome's transition.
