Package: gnome-font-viewer
Version: 3.34.0-2
Programs hangs system (XFCE) after first UI interaction (scroll or maximize
window). Some times the program crashes on start.
* "$HOME/xsession-errors" file contains:
(gnome-font-viewer:5742): Gdk-ERROR **: 11:30:19.364: The program
'gnome-font-viewer' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadShmSeg (invalid shared segment parameter)'.
(Details: serial 850 error_code 128 request_code 130 (MIT-SHM) minor_code
5)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
* Continuous execution shows (about one crash for each five executions):
while true; do LANG=C GDK_SYNCHRONIZE=1 gnome-font-viewer; done
(gnome-font-viewer:2028): Gdk-ERROR **: 20:08:13.057: The program
'gnome-font-viewer' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadIDChoice (invalid resource ID chosen for this
connection)'.
