Bug#998718: Brasero fails (on Testing) burning an ISO image on a CD-RW

Package: Brasero
Version: 3.12.3-1

I work on Debian Testing (Bookworm) with Cinnamon, always kept up to
date. The problem I point out is related to the burning of ISO to CD-RW
using Brasero. I state that from the console using wodim I can both
erase CD-RW and burn an ISO. Instead, if I proceed with Brasero with an
already burned CD-RW (containing an ISO):
a) if I try to erase the disk beforehand with the relative tool in the
Tools menu, the disk is found but the operation is not carried out with
the warning:

===========================
Unable to lock the drive
===========================

b) if I try to burn the ISO directly the disc is initially found, but
the operation is not carried out with the warning:

===============================================
Insert a writable CD or DVD.
The disk in Asus DRW-24D5MT is not supported
===============================================

After both types of attempts, the CD-RW (which has not been modified and
still contains the paretenza ISO) is no longer found even by Nemo, with
the warning:

===================================================================================
Unable to mount <name.iso>
Error mounting system-managed device / dev / sr0: no medium found on /
dev / sr0
===================================================================================

If I reboot the system, the CD-RW is found again, and I can mount it
from Nemo and inspect its contents.
It seems that Brasero does not identify the CD-RW as such, ie as rewritable.
The same operations succeed perfectly from a Stable with KDE, using K3b.
I have compared the logs.
Testing / Cinnamon gives me:

Only in the second case (Stable) the burner seems to be recognized as
cdrw / dvdrw, while in the first case (Testing) it is not.
I'm not sure if the problem is actually attributable to Brasero.
Assuming that it could be caused by the kernel (5.14.0-4-amd64) instead,
I tried to install the Buster kernel (5.10.0-0) from Backports, but the
problem recurs. Or could it be due to udev?
