Bug#994588: gnome-maps: crash if it is unable to connect to wikipedia metadata

Dear mainteiner,

I start gnome-maps
$ gnome-maps

I left-click the second upper left button (Choose map type)
I left-click to the open pop-up (Open shape layer...)

gnome-maps stop to respond for few second and then it crash with the
following errors:

Gjs-Message: 09:17:48.278: JS LOG: Failed to request Wikipedia metadata: Impossibile connettersi: I/O sul socket scaduto
Gdk-Message: 09:17:48.314: Lost connection to Wayland compositor.


I have had this problem only once, but i think gnome-maps must not crash
