Hi Simon,
When I run nextcloud-desktop on terminal, there is no error but just hang on there and cannot
login. (sorry cannot provide useful information)

I rollback (with btrfs snapshot) , and hold the package.
john at redcat:~$ dpkg --get-selections |grep hold
libglib2.0-0:amd64 hold
john at redcat:~$ sudo apt upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
gir1.2-freedesktop gir1.2-glib-2.0 glib-networking glib-networking-services
libgirepository-1.0-1 libglib2.0-0
