This extension looks like it needs code changes for GNOME Shell 43, which
is currently in experimental and should be going to unstable soon.

After updating it for gnome-shell 43 compatibility, I'd recommend giving
it a dependency on gnome-shell (<< 44~) so that it won't be co-installable
with GNOME Shell 44 (including alphas/betas) during the Debian 13 cycle.
