Bug#995714: gnome-shell freezes with error

No Shell extension enabled.

as mentioned in the last reply it's mainly if I use the packages 
firefox-esr and thunderbird. Is there a way to test a new gnome-shell 
package without breaking the upgradeability to Debian 12?
