Dear Maintainers,

I want to point you to upstream bug #497
(https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/meld/-/issues/497) which includes more details
on the problem including responses from an upstream developer referencing a
specific commit which fixes this issue and noting that is has been fixed in the
released version 3.21.1
Maybe you can just bump the whole package to that version?
