    * What led up to the situation?
Click on right top of the GUI on date and power icon area and opening the menu seems to have caused the issue. The issue does not replicate every time.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
I pressed the windows key and the key M after which I got keyboard menu access. With that I was able to access power menu on top right reboot the system.
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
Mouse disappears, mouse has no control and the user has keyboard access.
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Mouse should always be on in addition to keyboard.
