in addition to the patches already attached to the merge request

an additional patch is needed to ake it work on bullseye:

This fixes the E-D-S part, tested with evolution and gnome contacts.
Evolution will need the adjustments made in the
merge_request, https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/evolution/-/merge_requests/3
that is dropping of the source order API that got added post 3.38.
