Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? Plugging in an external monitor shows these bugs.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)? HDMI is still unusable after login although the external and main displays extends properly when displaying the login dialog on the main screen. USB-C appears to be implemented. I did not try using two external monitors but hope it works when I set them up.
* What was the outcome of this action? There was some back-and-forth to focus on the scope of the errors. I made sure the laptop would suspend if closing the lid. Before that there were other crashes. After about 1/2 hour (the idle period for suspend) the system would be unresponsive, but closing the lid and then opening it usually presented a login dialog.
* What outcome did you expect instead? The external monitor should display using the HDMI port and leave the USB-C port open if the user desires. Suspend and screen savers should be integrated into the display manager.
