Gnome is so fragile that after installing bookworm and upgrading to
sid it doesn't work. I was trying to make a preseed script that
illustrates the issue, but that has proven too difficult. I'd like
the maintainers to work off a 5Gb disk image instead.

I've made this disk image so you don't have to wait for my reply to
any questions you may have, you can conduct the testing yourself. As
informed the image was created just by installing, "using the methods
that I would use to install and configure", bookworm and upgrading to
sid.

Sadly a script can't be written for you to do the install yourself,
but if you NEED detailed instructions it'll take about a week and
should be 2 pages of reading for you. Then you'll need to follow my
instructions and honestly there is a reason I've provided the disk
image. The reason is that I don't make any sense, as you should have
gathered by now and the idea that you could take something written by
me and generate 5Gb worth of data correctly is absurd.
