Bug#1040202: gnome-photos: FTBFS with gegl 0.4.46

This began failing between 2023-06-19 and 2023-07-01 in experimental 
(unstable also has #1040746, experimental doesn't), which if the trigger 
is gegl, means between gegl 0.4.44 and 0.4.46:

It is still failing (gegl 0.4.50), in both gnome-photos 44.0 
(experimental) and "43.1" (

Looking at the upstream gegl history

the obvious guess is the switch from gegl_node_connect_from/to to 
gegl_node_connect: perhaps this is a case where the direction can't be 
automatically detected.
