Yes, this is indeed the same issue. It turns out to be a signal handler
signature mismatch, so I have no idea how why worked on amd64...

Fix proposed in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/merge_requests/7504
and pushed to debian/latest, also dropping the patch that previously
skipped these two tests on i386.
