Package: gnome-boxes
Version: 46.1-3
Followup-For: Bug #731668
X-Debbugs-Cc: drfox at chicagovet.net
Dear Maintainer,
Apt update/upgrade to the latest packages for sid today, 8 July 2024.
Tried to run Boxes. Program opened without the VM which I had previously built
and has been running well. It did not show the VM. When I navigated to the VM
location (./local/share/gnome-boxes/images/win11) the file would not open.
Boxes was asking for a .qcow2 file. I reported to the debian forum and a reply
was given about how to change a qcow file to a .qcow2 file. I did the
conversion and tried to open the Win11.qcow2 file and there was a quick flash
and the program terminated.
