Please keep in mind that GNOME Software on Debian GUI systems is
responsible for refreshing the APT cache and notifying about system
updates, and this functionality will no longer work if the PK backend
is not there - so people might miss important (security) updates.
Having it as recommends may be strong enough to pull it in on standard
systems though...
